General information
The duration of the PhD program in Biosciences is of 3 years. The School's objective is to select the most qualified candidates from both national and international applicants.
Admission is based on a competitive process open to individuals of all ages and citizenship who possess either a Diploma di Laurea (vecchio ordinamento) or Laurea Specialistica/Magistrale (nuovo ordinamento) from an Italian institution, or an equivalent academic qualification from a foreign university recognized by the academic authorities or through an inter-university agreement of cooperation and mobility. Admission Process
The exam is based on a two-steps process:
- A pre-evaluation of the candidates by the Committee, based on the curriculum and research statement, publications etc. The score of this first step along with the interview schedule (limited to applicants admitted to the second step) will be reported on this web page.
- An interview for those applicants that obtained a score of at least 7/10 in the pre-evaluation step. During the interview the Committee will discuss with the candidate the details of his/her academic titles, curriculum, and research interests and will assess if the candidate has the right technical and methodological tools required to carry on the project.
